Happy President's Day!

I cannot recall a time (possibly high school?) when President's Day was observed as a major holiday. Who decides to have off? Millersville still had school, but NYU had off. The subway today was running on the most obscure schedule as well. The Q was local in the morning, but express in the afternoon. The R came to my platform. Nobody was on the train. The N was local and my ride took twice as long. Everything was closed.

Interning, on the other hand today was surprisingly satisfactory! I had the opportunity to answer phone calls. Due to the holiday, less viewers were calling in. It made my first full day on the phones, much easier.

My latest food find is Union Square's Dogmatic. A revolutionary Gourmet Sausage System. Special machine toast their breads from the inside out. The sausage is nestled perfectly inside and dressed with any of the 5-6 sauce options. Sides are all homemade, drinks too. Pictured here is a strawberry soda (fresh puree!), a chicken sausage with cheddar jalapeno sauce, and tomato basil salad. Delicious  (I think) and very satisfying.

Pictures of myself to come!!
