Learning About NYC

I'm now into my 3rd week here at NYC and I am absorbing the fast paced life.

Like all New Yorkers, I don't wait for the "WALK SIGN." I try to cross the street when there are no cars. Unfortunately, I've had moments when bikes almost run me down. On Monday, my umbrella got turned inside due to the wind, and then I got water sprayed on me from a cab. Also, Trader Joe's is extremely popular in New York. The line wraps all the way around the store. Sometimes there's a line to just go inside. But most importantly, the food is delicious. More recently I visited Crumbs Bakery in Union Square. Pictured below is a Caramel Apple Cupcake, filled with apple filling, coated with vanilla icing and drizzled with warm caramel. Mmmmm
